Band Parents:Do you have
questions about the band program and activities?

Don't worry - you are not alone. The first year of marching band
can be mysterious and frustrating (especially for parents - the students catch on pretty quickly!!!).
The GOOD NEWS is that we have SEVERAL ways to keep you in the loop....
1. Contact ABBA President Terri Panico at tnpanico@yahoo.com, or any of the other ABBA officers and committee chairs to get the answers you need on any band-related subject.
2. The YAHOO e-mail newsletter is for band parents AND band students! ! Would you
like to be notified about AHS Trojan Band and ABBA activities by email? We can do that !!!
Because 'the Yahoo' will contain specific info about where our kids are (and when)...it is an 'Invitation Only' group.
You have to be invited by e-mail and then follow the instructions on the e-mail to join. Once you are a member, you will receive periodic email updates with all kinds of up-to-date and last-minute information. (usually once a week, maybe more during marching season and contest season) It's a great supplement to information found on this website.
To get your invitation, send
an email to tnpanico@yahoo.com. Put AHS Trojan Band News Group as the subject line. Please provide:
your email address / addresses
your name
who your
band student is
No one will be invited without all of the requested information.

4. Come to ABBA meetings - see the calendar for meeting dates and times...if ABBA can't keep you in-the-know...no one can!
