TROJAN BAND Activities this Week...
Congratulations to all the Anderson Band students who auditioned for All-Region Orchestra this past weekend. We had a great showing at this contest and everyone should be proud of how well they performed. It is one of the toughest contests our students compete in. See the AWARDS page for results.
Thursday, November 20th is a late start day. School will begin at 10:15am

Holiday Help Needed
Hurricane Ike destroyed San Leon Elementary and half the town of Dickinson, Tx. The Anderson PALS are organizing a drive to give the kids of San Leon a happy holiday break. You can help with this drive by bringing a minimum of a $5.00 gift card from Target, Wal-mart, HEB or Visa. Bring the card to Mr. Zysk by Nov. 21st (Friday). This will count towards points for those in NHS or Leadership Council, but it would also be great to have a big response from the band.

Coming UP.....
Saturday after Thanksgiving is the Chuy's Parade. This is an annual event for the Anderson Band! If you are in town, you are required to march this parade. The link to the map also contains information about Uniform of the Day, as well as call time and parade time. .

The Janauary Pops Concert date has been changed to January 22nd. Please make this change on your family and personal calendars!

LOCK UP anything and everything you want to keep...we have had a few thefts in the Band Hall recently.
