Marching Band Rehearsal Schedule:

Weekday Mornings-daily 'Zero Hour' marching band period is 7:30 til 8:30 am
generally on the practice field-READY to rehearse at 7:30.

Late Start Days: school will begin at 10:15, so zero hour will be from 8:45-9:45.
Late Start time is NOW 10 am for the Spring semester!

Monday Evenings from 5-7 pm, generally on the practice field.
School is out at 4:15, students may attend tutorials until Rehearsal as needed.
If there is no school on Monday, the practice is usually moved to Tuesday.

This schedule is in effect until football season is over.
Additional practices may be held by ANY section.

Concert Band Rehearsals:
rehearsals are during the school day

Concert Band Sectionals:
(a sectional is a 'small group' rehearsal time, usually held outside of normal rehearsal times)
Check back for Sectional Schedule...usually spring semester only

See the website calendar for marching contests and game dates.
Times will be announced AS SOON AS they are
known. YES, they are required performances.

CHANGES and ADDITIONS*
There may be sectionals or extra rehearsals called prior to contests.
Pay attention to the YAHOO and the BAND WEBSITE…

* these things are also announced at school to the kids, but get in the habit of asking. Even though they are high school students, they forget to tell you!…another reason it is good to have some contact info for other Band Parents, build a network!!!
