This is the home page of the Austin Symphonic Band, the official band of the City of Austin. Under the baton of Music Director Richard Floyd, this Texas-based group has become one of this nation's premier volunteer concert bands.

University Interscholastic League (UIL) Music Program
The Music Program of the UIL is designed to support and enrich the teaching of music as an integral component of the public school curriculum in the state of Texas. Each year approximately one half million middle school, junior high and high school students reap the benefits of participation in the ten UIL music events.The purpose of this site is to provide students, teachers, administrators, parents, and the general public with current information pertaining to all aspects of UIL music activities.
