Shoes can be kept in the boxes or in a soft cloth bag

Please make sure everything is dry prior to hanging inside the bag

Each piece of the uniform (except shoes, socks, t-shirt and gloves) has an ID number and has been assigned to each student.

You are responsible for your uniform until you return it later in the year.

The blue shield was made for the front of each individual jacket.
It is attached by buttons, a snap and Velcro.
The shields are not interchangeable and must be detached before washing the jacket.

The shield, gauntlets and sash are dry clean only, if necessary.

Please try on hats and adjust straps and lining for a proper fit.
Some of you have a piece of foam in your hat to place between the lining and hat for a better fit.
The hatboxes are fragile and should be handled with care.

Plumes are issued just prior to performance time and collected immediately afterwards. They do not come home.

A complete uniform care sheet is attached to the garment bag and is on the band website under “uniforms”.
