Temple Jazz Festival – Saturday, March 30

Warm up at 3, perform at 3:30. Evening concert at 7:30 (The Temple Jazz Orchestra featuring Luis Conte)

Longhorn Jazz Festival – Saturday, April 13

Warm up at 2, perform at 2:30. Evening concert at 7:30 (UT Jazz Orchestra with Joe Lovano).

Butler School of Music – The University of Texas

Concert in the Park – Sunday, April 28th

Murchison Middle School

Meet at Murchison at Anderson at 5:00 for warm-up. Go to Murchison at 5:30. Perform at 6:10.

Swinging in the Spring featuring Andre Hayward – Wednesday, May 1

Anderson HS Auditorium. Soundcheck at TBD, concert at 7.

This is our annual combined concert with Murchison Middle School. This year, thanks to a grant through the Austin Jazz Society, we are bringing in a guest artist/clinician to perform with our students! Andre Hayward is a local trombone player who has performed with some of the best jazz musicians in the world and we are very fortunate to have him work with our students.

Baccalaureate Service – Sunday, May 19th

Westover Hills Baptist Church

We will be providing music for this special graduation ceremony. Call time is 1:30 in the Band Hall. The service starts at 3 (at the church) and we’ll need to be set up and ready to play by about 2:30.
