Greetings!
Congratulations to the Winter Guard and Indoor Drum Line on an excellent show yesterday at Cedar Park High School! The Winter Guard placed 4th in their division and the Indoor Drum Line place 3rd in their division. We are excited to see how they progress now that they have their shows completed in the next few weeks! Great job guard and drum line!!!!
This week we have a Hawaii Band rehearsal Wednesday morning from 7:20am-8:50am. Attendance is mandatory at all Hawaii band rehearsals to be allowed to perform on the trip at Pearl Harbor.
Mandatory Hawaii Parent Meeting this Thursday at 6:30pm in the Anderson Band Hall! This is for parents of all traveling students as well as all adults traveling with us.
Wind Ensemble – no sectionals, but instead we will have our full rehearsal Tuesday morning 7:30am-8:50am.
Solo Competition for those that advanced from UIL and Anderson Local Solo and Ensemble this Thursday, February 26 on the Anderson Stage. Mr. Nedley has arranged piano accompaniment and all students should know their rehearsal time and performance time. Questions? Contact frank.nedley@austinisd.org
