During this year’s Operation Flamingo, our students can take donations via credit card for the first time. This makes it easy to send links to family members and friends–please support the band by e-mailing your child’s section link to them and asking for their support. (In a nutshell, less than 25% of the band program’s cost is provided by the district–the rest of the operating costs are covered by families’ fair share payments and what students & parents fundraise.)
In honor of our 25 years of flamingo-ing, our goal this year is a $25 donation minimum from all of our donors.
All gifts are gladly welcomed!
Each section has their own dedicated site, and all the donations they raise goes toward their section’s goal. Friends and family who do not live nearby can also donate, so let’s make this the year we raise $75,000 with Operation Flamingo!
Please forward your child’s section link to all your friends, family and community colleagues and ask them to join you in supporting the Trojan Band. Together we can keep the Anderson Trojan Marching Band the Pride of Northwest Austin!
