ICE CLOTHS! HELP KEEP THE BAND COOL DURING SUMMER BAND!
One of the ways that we keep our band students “cool” during the heat of summer band practice is to provide them with an “ICE CLOTH” break. Imagine how refreshing it is to be given an icy wet washcloth during a practice break to help you finish strong. This is not a hard job, but it does involve picking up the washcloths, washing and drying dirty washcloths, and moving coolers of cold washcloths to the practice field. It isn’t hard, only last two weeks, and you are “BELOVED” by the band! We are also looking for someone to take over organizing this short project. Questions, email andrea.k.gonzalez@austinisd.org
