Hey Trojan Band families,

welcome to Across the Universe and the 2019-20 school year!
With summer band camp heading into full swing next week, we need to make sure our responsibilities to the program are covered.  The kids (and directors!) need our support to pull off the amazing things they do during marching season.
If you are new to volunteering with the band, take a look here to find out why parent support is vital and what kinds of opportunities there are for you to serve.  We’ve got something for everyone—during the day or in the evening, working with kids or with fellow band parents, longer-term projects or short-term tasks.  Find something that suits your schedule and preference and let’s fill those slots!
Our request is for everyone to sign up for at least two things (can be small or super-small) throughout the course of the year so that the volunteer load doesn’t land on the backs of just a few parents.  We promise to welcome all volunteers and make sure you know what to do!  You can see all the SignUps at a glance here.
Whether you sign up for a front-line job like chaperoning or a behind-the-scenes job such as fundraising, this is a great opportunity to be involved in your children’s lives during high school—don’t let it pass you by!
Please reach out if you have any questions.  We’re excited about the new show and looking forward to meeting new parents and welcoming back returning families!

Fondly,

Mrs. Gonzalez and Elizabeth Churchett – Anderson Band Booster Presidentpresident@andersontrojanband.com
