Greetings Trojan Band FAMILY!
I hope you are having an AMAZING and relaxing summer, and you are getting the chance to take a breather and enjoy the family and time. I can’t wait to hear stories from the kids when they get back!
I have been thinking of everyone and I wanted to just do a mid-summer touch base for you.
~PHYSICALS! Get those Physicals done! HERE IS A BLANK FORM. Remember I need this before your student starts doing any activity. Bring them to the first day of your band activity and we will be collecting them.
~ALL Guard and percussion start July 22 8am! ALL Leaders have SASI Leadership Training July 24&25. ALL Freshmen (Unless you are percussion and guard and have already started) Come to us July 26 from 8am-11am to learn some basics. EVERYONE starts back that hasn’t already started on July 29 at 8am on the parking lot.
~Everyone should be getting a mailer in the ‘snail mail’ in the next day or so. I mailed them Monday. This is just a packet of information for you. I’ll send the same mailer out in a blast after the JULY 4 parade as well to cover all bases. If I had your mailing address in CHARMS either from Anderson or Murchison you will get your mailer. ~REGISTRATION DAY is August 3! Everyone must attend. It’s a one-stop-shop to pay fair share fees if you haven’t already, order meals, get uniform parts, sign up, update database information, get picture info, etc. If for some reason you can’t stop by for registration day you must email Ms. Gonzalez. (Times are Freshmen 9-10, Sophmores 10-11, Jrs and Srs 11-12; these are guidelines….if you need to come at a different time you may. )
~CHECK THE BAND CALENDAR!!! It is up-to-date through end of the year. NOTE Graduation date in May 2020 (Wind Ensemble and Symphonic members are required to play in graduation band! We want to support our amazing seniors one last time!!)
~ FAIR SHARE PAYMENTS are open! CLICK HERE FOR Fair Share info. If you want to make smaller payments you can start now! Email Ms. Gonzalez to make arrangements. To make online payments CLICK HERE to access the online store on the Trojan Band Page (Mailer says ‘Trojan Spirit Store…..NOTE it means go to the Trojan Band Store). Email Ms. Gonzalez with questions. So that we can make timely purchases for marching season for your student’s supplies, At least one payment must be made on or before Aug 3 Registration day!
