People’s Choice Awards We are streaming all band performances LIVE on the Capital City Marching Festival Facebook page. During the performance, and for only 10 minutes afterwards, festival spectators and watchers at home can vote for their favorite band by liking the post. The band who receives the most likes wins the People’s Choice Award. Only one band in each class can win the award. Please tell your band family to use the Facebook app or go on the web at https://www.facebook.com/CapCityMarching/.
Admission Gate admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and children over five. Children under five will be admitted free of charge. Any person without a wristband or student not dressed in an official band shirt or uniform will be asked to purchase an admission wristband. Wristbands are required for exit and re-entry.
Clear Bag Policy Beginning in August 2018, a clear bag policy will be in place for all Austin ISD athletic facilities. The policy only applies to festival spectators and does not apply to participants. Concessions & Souvenirs Great food and drink, including the popular Curly Fries, will be provided by the famous Capital City tailgate crew. Please note that we no longer use concession food tickets. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the concession windows. We’ve added a refreshments stand on the north side of the stadium to keep everyone hydrated. T-shirts, patches, and caps will be available at the souvenir booth.
