What is Dance Guard?
The Dance Guard is part of the Marching Band and Fine Arts programs at Anderson.
During the Marching Band Season, the Dance Guard's performance helps to tell the story of the music being played by the marching band through movement, color and use of equipment such as flags, rifles, or sabers. Dance Guard performs at all Anderson football games and other band events, including pep rallies, parades and contests.
Dance Guard class will focus on stretching, strengthening, advanced jazz technigues, equipment skills and performance preparation.
