Throughout band camp You will get band blasts more often than normal as I update you on the band, flamingoing and things you need to have on your radar.  Once school starts I send a Sunday Blast for the upcoming week and then as needed.

The kids are doing great – at this point in the week they are feeling the work but they are pushing hard and making amazing progress.  Today they learned how to read the marching field and slides.  Tomorrow we start DRILL (the actual coordinates of the marching show!) . Our goal for tomorrow is to teach them how to learn their drill spot and get through the first three ‘sets’ or pictures.

Flamingo-ing is going really well and at the current time their VERY hard work is paying off.  To reach our goal of $65,000 (or more!) at the end of the two weeks each team has to make $581 a night.  Last night all but 2 teams reached that and the other two were VERY VERY close – putting us $126 over out checkpoint for today!  GO TROJAN BAND!!!!!  Keep up this momentum through the weekend and we will reach our halfway point!

Please sign up to help with the Ford Test Drive this Saturday!  The wonderful Dubiel Family organizes it (if you are a low brass kid or parent you know Leah) and they need help with volunteers….please visit the sign up genius to help out – even if only a small amount of time!  PARENTS and STUDENTS are welcome to help!  Right now they only have 3 people signed up  CLICK HERE TO HELP THE DUBIEL FAMILY on the FORD TEST DRIVE
