Tucker Ewer is a Colorado native and he is thrilled be joining the Anderson Band Family! Mr. Ewer comes to Anderson from Forbes Middle School in Georgetown, TX. Prior to his career in Texas, he spent two years as the Director of Instrumental Music at Conifer High School in the mountains of Colorado. During his time at Conifer the band and orchestra programs grew from about 95 students to over 200. Mr. Ewer helped guide Conifer’s programs to Excellent and Superior ratings at band and orchestra state contests. He also helped the Lobo Regiment Marching Band to 8th and 7th place finishes in 3A state marching competition. At the end of the 2017-2018 school year, Mr. Ewer was selected by the Conifer staff, students, and community as the Schwartz Leadership Award Winner. Prior to his appointment at Conifer, Mr. Ewer taught two years at Arvada High School in Colorado and one year at Ashton Ranch and Countryside K-8 schools in Arizona. In addition to working in public education, Mr. Ewer was the Musical Director for the Golden Eagle Concert Band from 2015-2018.

Mr. Ewer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. His professional affiliations include Kappa Kappa Psi, Mu Phi Epsilon, and Texas Music Educators Association.

Mr. Ewer is an avid hockey fan, and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, solving Rubik’s cubes, and hanging out with his dog Nola.
