Description
Color Guard Camp is an exciting opportunity for students entering grades 4 through 7 to explore the athletic and artistic side of performance.
This high-energy camp introduces campers to foundational dance techniques and flag work, with each participant receiving their own pole and silk (included with registration). Campers will learn basic movement, equipment handling, and parade-ready choreography to showcase in the NWACA 4th of July Parade alongside the Anderson Trojan Marching Band. As part of the creative experience, campers will tie-dye their own silk to use in the performance.
The camp takes place July 1–3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with a 45-minute lunch break. Participants should bring a lunch; snacks will be available for purchase. On Friday, July 4, campers will march in the community parade to cap off their week. No experience is necessary—just a love of movement and trying something new.
Camp cost is $150 and includes all materials. Campers need to provide their names and select their included T-shirt size. Add separate orders for each camper in your group to the cart.
