Description
Mini Musicians Camp is the perfect introduction to the world of music and marching for students entering 4th and 5th grade.
Over the course of three fun-filled days, campers will learn the basics of reading music, counting rhythms, and playing a real piccolo—provided as part of the registration. They’ll also be introduced to beginner marching techniques and rehearse patriotic tunes to perform in the NWACA 4th of July Parade alongside the Anderson Trojan Marching Band. In addition to music instruction, campers will tie-dye their own camp t-shirt to wear in the parade.
The camp runs July 1–3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 45-minute lunch break each day. Campers should bring a lunch, and snacks will be available for purchase. The grand finale is a Fourth of July parade performance on Friday, July 4. No prior musical experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a readiness to learn.
Camp cost is $150 and includes all materials. Campers need to provide their names and select their included T-shirt size.
