Congrats to our AMAZING members of the Trojan Band for their tenacity and efforts in a successful 2019 FLAMINGO-ING season! Over the course of the past two weeks, the band raised a record $73,989.34! This money is critical in helping pay for things such as masterclass teachers for every instrument during summer band and throughout the school year, clinicians, marching band field technicians , front ensemble instruction, dance guard instruction, dance guard design and choreography, drill, show design, expenses of the band trailer and music arrangement to name a few. Thank you SO much for your support of the band and this amazing connection with the community!
To the parents, alumni and friends that drove, encouraged and assisted with our plight….as well as everyone in the neighborhoods who opened their doors, gave us a smile, and listened to the musings of our young musicians – thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. It’s a rare connection in this day and age ….and the bond that the Trojan Band shares with the Anderson Community is a very very very special and unique treasure that we hold dear.
