The Anderson Trojan Band & Guard is experiencing a phenomenal year. They recently qualified to perform at the UIL State marching competition on Nov. 10, a first since 2010! Not only that, the band and guard have been our football team’s loudest and most musical supporters as they head on their own road to a state title.
All these accomplishments, although fun and memorable, add unexpected costs like meals and travel expenses to our already tight budget. It costs at least $2,500 just to feed band, guard, and directors each day. And as our talented football team advances in the playoffs, we have to add in bus costs.
