Thank you to everyone who came out for Anderson City Limits! It was fun to see all the friends and family and celebrate Anderson and Murchison Bands! We appreciate your support in raffle and taco sales in making our goals a success!!!
This coming week, the finals practice material will be distributed to all students. This music will be the evaluation for the final as well as ensemble placements for next year. They will consist of scales, etudes and rhythm.
Leadership materials are all due May 1. Make sure you have submitted all components by the deadline and completed the google form as well. Thank you to all potential leaders for your hard work!
May 3 ANDERSON BAND SKATE PARTY!! A generous donor and the Band Boosters are throwing a party for the band to relax and have some fun! Thursday May 3 from 6pm-8pm at Playland Skate Center – there will be drinks and snacks, and feel free to bring your own delicious goodies to add to the mix! All current Trojan Band and Dance Guard members welcome as well as rising 8th graders (next year’s freshmen). Entry is free for all Trojan band students and includes use of skates, skate mates and playscape.

Spring Concert and Senior Recognition for all seniors in Band and Dance Guard is May 15! We want all seniors represented in the program, reception and concert slides so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE submit your baby photo and senior photo by the May 1 deadline!

May 25: BAND BANQUET – for all band and Dance Guard
May 31: GRADUATION – 1pm at Frank Erwin Center. All Non-Senior members of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band are required to attend to perform as the ‘Graduation Band.’
