Greetings!
Thanks to all for an awesome Hawaii trip! After our performance at Pearl Harbor we were gifted an American Flag that had been flown one day on the USS Missouri! Thank you to the parents that helped us travel and to the students for their amazing representation of our band program!
Congrats to the Winter Guard on their Area Performance this weekend at Hendrickson High School! They had a great show and represented us well!!! We are proud of our guard and excited to see them at the showcase on Wednesday!
We are going to hit the ground running with our final week of UIL work this week! It’s going to be fast and furious getting everyone back in the swing of things but we are looking forward to a strong showing at UIL next week. SCHEDULES for each band HERE. NOTE** There are rehearsal schedules as well as pre-UIL and UIL schedules so please everyone review!!!
This WEDNESDAY please come cheer on the WINTER GUARD and INDOOR DRUM LINE in a public showcase of their shows! Join us at 8pm in the LARGE GYM!!!! Everyone bring friends and family come cheer them on!
MULCH!!!! Mulch is our big spring fundraiser for the BAND and DANCE GUARD!! We only have 2 days left and we are SO CLOSE! We are at 85% of our goal! Let’s make a big push to reach 100%~ Remember everyone needs to contribute! Either sell 25 bags OR if you don’t want ANYTHING TO DO with mulch just pay your opt-out fee on the website!!! Have you run out of ideas to sell? Ask 3 neighbors….email 3 friends….post on your social media….post on your neighborhood sites….put the ad on next door! Hint…..Someone sat by a former band parent that lives in Jester on a plane this week and they said they hadn’t heard about mulch!!!! There are still a lot of opportunities out there 😉 Point them to the website store for easy sign up! Delivery on April 6! GOOOO BAND AND GUARD!!!!!!!!
