The reality is it costs a lot to put on a show, purchase and maintain instruments, provide instruction and creative support, choose and buy music, clothe, feed, transport, and create community among students. The district provides less than 25% of our budget, Fair Share provides another 25%. That leaves a whopping 50% of our expenses that need to be covered by our community through donations, sponsorships, and fundraising.

This 30-year tradition is unique to the Trojan Band and Guard. It’s a great bonding opportunity for our new students and a fun way to reconnect experienced students. It happens in the evenings during summer band camp and includes a day-time Family and Friends telethon. This fundraiser is over before school starts but the memories last a lifetime.

Everybody needs mulch for their garden in the spring. This fundraiser puts our band and guard kids to work delivering mulch to the Anderson community.

Support the band and gear up for games and competitions with band shirts, hats, fans, and more. We strive to make every product affordable for every family so this is an important, but not necessarily large, fundraiser for our Trojan Band and Guard. Every penny helps, though, and our students love seeing their fans decked out in Anderson Band and Guard gear. Look for information on this year’s Show Shirt from ABBA, which celebrates the show the students are currently working on and changes every year.
