First Football Game on Thursday!

Our first away football game is Thursday evening at 7:30 at Johnson High School in Buda (4800 Jack C Hays Trail).

Wear your Anderson gear and look for us in the stands near the band and guard. Prepare to lose your minds when our kids march on the field and celebrate every solo, flag catch, and hit to show our kids and directors how much we appreciate the hard work they’ve put into this season already.

Dinner
Students and adults who purchased Game Day meals will be fed after school in the band hall area. If you did not purchase game day meals, please send your student with dinner or money, or drop food off around 5 at the band hall for them (coordinate directly with your student). Students will have time to grab food after half time at the football game and we have snacks and water for the kids on the buses to and from the game.

Volunteers
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to be part of taking care of our band and guard students. We need a few more volunteers to help get our gear loaded, unloaded, on the field and off again. This is a fun job that gives you a chance to hang out with the Coolest Kids in the band. No experience required. Game Tips
Plan on getting there early – I don’t remember what parking is like at this field but often its the lots fill up fast. It’s going to be hot so bring a fan, a hat, and either a sealed frozen water bottle (it’ll melt fast but will stay cold for a while) or plan on purchasing water at the game. It gets a lot more comfortable after the sun goes down.
