Instrument Use Fee

Description

All students are expected to provide their own equipment in some manner whether that is by owning, renting from a music store, or renting from the school.
Your Instrument Use Fee (which is collected at the beginning of the school year during Marching Band Season) covers your concert season instrument, as well.

Every student who borrows an instrument from the school will pay a use fee to help defray the cost of purchasing and maintaining our equipment.

• Students using a school-owned instrument will pay a $25 fee
  • This covers rental, replacement, and repair of the instrument.
• Students participating in Color Guard pay a $50 fee
  • Guard fees include equipment use, upkeep, and a guard bag.
• School-Owned Marching Instrument Fee = $25
• School-Owned Concert Instrument Fee = $25
• Students using both a school-owned marching and concert instrument pay $50 total
• The fee for percussion is $50, which includes use of the percussion equipment and mallets/sticks

Paying by credit card includes a 4% processing fee. To avoid these fees, you can pay by check. Make checks payable to: Anderson Band Booster Association.
Be sure to write your student’s name in the memo. There are three ways to get checks to us:

• Bring with you on Registration Day (July 24th)
• Send by mail to PO Box 27722, Austin, TX 78755
• Put it in an envelope and Drop in the ABBA Mailbox located in the Band Hall
